About us:

H2 Green Steel is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO₂ emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. But this is just the beginning – our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel, and we look forward to what’s next in store for us.

Project Manager

The Project Manager will be in charge of ensuring project deliveries on time and with the right quality and drive efficient project management at H2 Green Steel and our projects. You will lead and support our associates and analysts, as well as subject matter experts, within the project team and making sure that the project execution is conducted with excellence, steering team members towards project objectives and finalization. You will get a unique insight in the buildup of a modern steel industry as well as create and share your knowledge within your team and the organization. As a Project Manager you have the responsibility over projects across all areas of the enterprise and these are of high strategic relevance to the success of the organization.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Responsible of leading individual projects, consisting of cross-functional project teams.
• Making sure that the projects are performing according to time and quality standards.
• Perform check in/outs with project management and project clients.
• Review and improve the process and the work within the projects.
• Reporting to VP of Technology Business Development.

Requirements and skills

• Master of science in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering or equivalent
• Project leadership experience in fast-moving demanding environments
• Experienced in multi-cultural working environment
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong skills as a communicator, both internally as well as externally to suppliers
• Structured and organized and highly execution-oriented
• Ability to work as team player as well as independently
